We would like to shine a spotlight on a very special caregiver who has been with our agency for over 13 years.
Her name is Barbara Sharp and she is a blessing to all that have the privilege of meeting her. Barb is a young 83 years old but you would never know it as she is on the go and willing to help clients any way she can.
Barb grew up and worked in Mississippi as a tax collector and then made the move to Arizona to retire in 1997.
One day while watching the news she decided she cannot sit and watch all the politics on tv anymore and she needed to get a job. Barb says the best part of her job is that is she able to meet so many interesting and diverse people, which makes her job something she looks forward to going to every day.
Her current client, Betty Grenig is 100 years young and just received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her service as a Red Cross Volunteer. Barb says that she loves hearing the stories Betty shares of adventures she has taken around the world and seeing the souvenirs she has picked up along the way. Barb has a heart of gold for seniors in the community and always has a positive outlook.
She is an asset to our company, and we are blessed to have her with us.
